Rallying Heritage: Worn & Driven at Willow Springs Reimagined
By Alexander Cartigan — Editor at Large
A Morning Where Passion Meets Precision
There’s something poetic about a sunrise rally, the low hum of engines stirring awake, the aroma of espresso cutting through the crisp morning air, and the anticipation of a day spent where speed meets soul.
On Saturday, October 11, that poetry came to life as Worn & Driven joined The Margarian Law Firm and Hovanes Margarian to host a Cars & Coffee Rally to Willow Springs Reimagined, a celebration of legacy, craftsmanship, and community. Host Juan J Chavez captured exclusive interviews with drivers, delving into the personal narratives behind their collections. Because for true enthusiasts, ownership is never about possession, it’s about connection. The moment a Daytona ticks in rhythm with a downshift, or when a Singer’s flat-six harmonizes with the beating heart of its driver.
The morning began at The Margarian Garage in Glendale, where the lineup resembled a luxury auto show more than a garage. Members brought out their finest machines, from a Porsche GT3 RS and Ferrari SF90 to an Aston Martin and even a Ford Cobra as owners exchanged stories over a light breakfast.
This was more than a meet-up. It was a convergence of passions, where collectors spoke not only about horsepower and torque, but about the craftsmanship of the watches on their wrists. From Rolex Daytona’s to IWC’s, each timepiece had a story, much like the cars they accompanied.
From the Garage to the Open Road
Willow Springs Reimagined
The event, Willow Springs Reimagined, marked the beginning of a new era for one of California’s most legendary tracks. On display were icons from the Petersen Automotive Museum and Singer Vehicle Design, joined by specialty vendors, curated car displays, and exclusive merchandise drops. Each corner of the paddock buzzed with stories, restorations completed, lap times chased, and watches worn through decades of drive.
Community in Motion
At the track, it was great reconnecting with friends from PCLUB and our nonprofit partners at Drive Toward a Cure, whose work continues to unite passion and purpose across the automotive world. These moments remind us that beyond the metal and mechanics, it’s the people, the collectors, the true enthusiasts, the dreamers who truly fuel the culture.
A Legacy Reborn
As the sun dipped behind the desert hills, the day ended much as it began, with the sound of engines, laughter, and the shared understanding that this wasn’t just another event. It was a statement of where car culture is headed, refined, inspired, and deeply personal.
Willow Springs Reimagined wasn’t merely about celebrating the past, it was about driving into the future and Worn & Driven was there to capture every second.
Because at the end of the day, time and speed are more than measures, they’re a mindset.
Worn & Driven was honored to be invited to Willow Springs Reimagined and granted full media access to document this historic event. Stay tuned as we continue to bring you inside access to the most exclusive gatherings in the world of automotive and horology, where every second counts and every mile tells a story.
